Hello,
To improve the global competitiveness of Japanese industry, it is necessary to develop software and hardware technology and develop highly skilled IT professionals.
Based on “New Industrial Structure�  and “Strategic Technology Roadmap,�  METI is working on reducing effects on the environment and promoting the standardization and application of technology in the actual society. In order to do so, METI supports the research and development of information communication devices and software, and promotes practical IT education in elementary and middle school by cooperating with businesses and schools.
