Call for Presentations, Albuquerque 2008

EIA Albuquerque 2008The Environmental Information Association, with its beginnings as the National Asbestos Council, has spent 25 years at the forefront in providing the environmental industry with the information needed to remain knowledgeable, responsible, and competitive in the environmental health and safety industry.

We invite you to join us in Albuquerque, NM, to celebrate this milestone, and participate in the only conference you’ll need all year. The Annual EIA Conference & Exposition is the source for information on mold identification and remediation environmental sampling and analysis, lead- based paint abatement, asbestos management, indoor air quality, regulatory compliance audits, environmental site assessments, and environmental management systems.

EIA’s National Conference has long been awarded CEU points from ABIH, as well as points from the AmIAQ (the accrediting body of IAQA). We invite you to submit your presentations, and join our prestigious assembly of experts presenting at EIA Conferences. Our goal is to present a comprehensive, unbiased program designed to encourage information exchange between the various professionals dealing with environmental problems and to provide workable cost-effective solutions.

Information generation, collection and dissemination is our primary focus. Therefore, the success of EIA 2008 depends on you. Your participation will ensure that practical, real world information will be provided to those who need it most - your fellow industry professionals and potential clients. You are cordially invited to submit presentation abstracts for consideration as a Professional Development Seminar, Technical Session or Paper for EIA 2008. Presentation topics should be related to one of the technical areas (asbestos, lead, IAQ, S&A, General). Viewpoints from various disciplines – contractors, consultants, laboratories, attorneys, regulators, building owners and property managers – are encouraged, and presentations should not include sales presentations or biases in any form.

As a presenter at EIA 2007, you will have the opportunity to contribute to your profession while increasing your visibility among other industry professionals and potential clients. You will be profiled as a speaker in our conference program and listed in EIA’s official monthly magazine Indoor Environment Connections. All session and paper presenters are offered an adjusted conference attendee rate of $355 (40% off our onsite member rate and 50% off our onsite non–member rate).

We thank you for your willingness to participate, and look forward to receiving your presentation submissions.

If you are interested in presenting at EIA 2008, please consider using our online Standard Application Form.
